Connect GitHub to wdid
wdid reads your GitHub activity for the collections you configure. Prefer browser Device Flow authorization. Tokens stay encrypted on your Mac. See Privacy for what leaves your machine.
Steps
- Open wdid → Sources and add or edit GitHub.
- Click Connect GitHub and finish Device Flow in the browser.
- Confirm your GitHub username is filled in, then enable the source on the collection.
- Run Update (or wait for the schedule) to pull activity into your workspace folder.
Advanced: a personal access token can be pasted for local development when Device Flow is unavailable. Prefer Connect GitHub for day-to-day use.
