Last updated: 2026-09-16. Operated by Noaa AB.
These terms apply to Vaultseer, the World of Warcraft addon and its desktop companion. They add to the general Terms of Service for applib.dev; where the two differ for Vaultseer, these terms apply.
What Vaultseer is
Vaultseer is free software in private beta. The addon runs inside World of Warcraft and only reads and displays data. The companion runs on your own computer, researches the web, asks an AI model for a plan and writes the result back for the addon to show. Neither part is a hosted service: nothing runs on Noaa AB's servers and there is no account.
Your API keys and third-party services
The companion works with API keys you obtain yourself for web research (Firecrawl), the AI model (Anthropic) and, optionally, Raider.IO and the Battle.net API. Those keys are yours. Their use, cost and any data they carry are governed by each provider's own terms and pricing, not by Noaa AB. Keep your keys private; if a key leaks, revoke it with the provider. Noaa AB is not responsible for charges you incur with those providers.
Vaultseer also reads publicly available pages and data from sites such as Wowhead and Bloodmallet. Their content belongs to them and is shown to you with attribution. Vaultseer is not affiliated with any of these services.
Blizzard's rules
Vaultseer is built to comply with Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft User Interface Add-On Development Policy: the addon is free, its code is readable, and it never automates gameplay or sends input to the game. You agree not to modify Vaultseer or combine it with other software in a way that automates play, violates Blizzard's terms of use, or otherwise breaks those rules. World of Warcraft is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.; Vaultseer is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard.
Advice, not promises
Plans and answers are generated by an AI model from web pages and simulations that may be wrong, outdated or incomplete. They are suggestions for a game. Check anything that matters to you against the sources Vaultseer lists.
As is, no warranty
Vaultseer is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noaa AB is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Vaultseer, including lost game time, API charges, or data loss on your machine.
Beta and changes
Features can change or be removed during the beta. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Vaultseer at any time by removing the addon folder and the companion folder.
